November was all about survey and usability improvements. And one sneak peek 👀
Summary
While we worked on several features in November, here are the highlights:
Survey: Build and manage surveys for your team.
UX/UI improvements: Plenty of usability updates across the board.
Let’s dive deeper into the details.
PS. We're also trying something new this time: Showing a sneak peek of one upcoming feature.
Survey
Our survey feature allows you to build complex yet easy-to-answer surveys in a breeze. The feature is packed with flexibility, including:
Question categorization: Add different categories to your survey questions
Multiple question types: Scale, order, multi-choice, and open-ended questions will suffice for almost any question you can imagine.
Predefined questions: Out of ideas? Use our comprehensive list of predefined questions as-is or as a basis for your own.
Templates: Save the survey as a template for reuse.
Results: View a neat summary or dig deeper into individual responses
…and plenty more. Feel free to check out the feature documentation for in-depth details and instructions (available only for logged-in customers). This feature is currently under a feature flag, so please discuss with your contact person about enabling it. Happy surveying!
UX/UI improvements
While we work on new features, sometimes it makes sense to adjust, tweak, and fix a bunch of things. And in November, we did exactly that. Here are some highlights:
We updated and clarified the home page role selector
Now our context menus look (and function) better
The buttons on the Actuals view now fit the view properly
The time tracking view is now more usable and looks better
Date pickers are now armed with week numbers
We improved performance by a mile. Everything should work faster now.
The switch component now looks a wee bit slicker
Improve button styles across the board
To adhere to the industry standards, we unified our confirmation dialog actions
We added some magic to our loading indicator styles
The global search now has more quick links, and is easier to navigate with a keyboard
We fixed icons across the board
It's now possible to manually type in dates in places where we previously only had a static date picker calendar
Sneak peek
We decided to do something new and share a sneak peek (not a sneak peak, mind you) of something we're working on: A new filtering system.
The new filtering system, with its completely redesigned interface, will open new possibilities for finding just the right data. While we don't want to promise a timeline for this feature, we're so excited about it that we'll do our best to make it happen sooner rather than later. In other words, stay tuned for updates.
That's it! As usual, we have plenty of new features and improvements in the pipeline waiting for the upcoming updates. In the meantime, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us.
